Earlier this month, our MD William Hale, made our TV debut appearance and appeared on Channel 4’s ‘Steph’s Packed Lunch’. We appeared in this special television episode as part of their men’s health awareness campaign.
During the pandemic, William was battling clinical depression and struggling to keep going. So, to help distract him from the crippling effects of depression, he set up an online pick and mix company. Closed sweet shops during the pandemic gave William the idea to create a virtual candy store. Customers could then create their own pick and mix online and have it delivered in the post.

Fast forward almost four years and PickandMix.com has become one of the largest online pick n mix shops. Boasting over 150 different sweets, PickandMix.com is the place to be. What was intended to be a side project for William, has now become a thriving business with an annual turnover in excess of £1 million and employs an ever-expanding team.
William talked about his mental health journey after being asked to appear on Channel 4’s ‘Steph’s Packed Lunch’. He spoke about how setting up PickandMix.com helped him overcome his illness. We had a great response from the episode and it was a proud moment to see our pick & mix on TV!
